Dandy Garden Suite

I am in love again…

The new Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden Suite, from the soon to be released Mini Catalog - January to June 2021, is absolutely adorable!! As a demonstrator, I was able to pre-order the suite in October, and just love the dandelions, dragonflies, bees and ladybugs! As an avid gardener and lover of anything floral, I find this suite so much fun! It brings to mind my childhood, laying in the grass watching ladybugs, blowing on dandelions, or putting yellow dandelion flowers under my siblings chin to see if they liked butter (silly I know). Even though I tend to tug out all dandelions I see in my garden, these I absolutely LOVE!!

With my first ever On Stage, I was able to pre-order part of the Dandy Garden Suite - the Dragonfly Garden Bundle (Dragonfly Garden stamps set & Dragonflies Punch), along with the Dandy Garden DSP, Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim, and the ADORABLE Ladybug Trinkets! Thank You For Your Kindness

This sweet little card is made with the 4-1/4”x5-1/2” Thick White cardstock and a strip of 3”x5-1/2” Dandy Garden DSP for the base. I used Dimensionals to pop up layers of of 2”x5-1/2” Pretty Peacock CS, 1-3/4”x5-1/2” Blackberry Bliss CS, & 1-5/8”x5-1/2” White cardstock. I stamped the flowers with Memento Black ink so I could use the Blackberry Bliss, So Saffron and Mossy Meadow blends. The dragonflies were stamped with Memento Black ink so I could use the Blackberry Bliss and Pretty Peacock Blends. The verse was inked with Memento Black and then used the light Pretty Peacock blend to just swipe across it. I used the Linen Thread wrapped around twice.

For A True Friend

This fun little card was made with a 4-1/4”x5-1/2” Thick White CS, with a 3-1/2”x5/14” Dandy Garden DSP and a strip of White CS embossed with the Greenery EF. I popped up the next 3-3/8”x4-3/8” layer of Flirty Flamingo CS & 3-1/4”x4-1/4” White CS with Dimensionals. The White CS was stamped with Memento Black ink so I could color the image with the Flirty Flamingo, Mossy Meadow, So Saffron, and Blackberry Bliss Blends. The dragonflies and bee were fussy cut from the Dandy Garden DSP. I used the Mossy Meadow Linen Trim and glued a sweet little Ladybug Trinket. I pulled the linen trim to get it a frayed look.

You Are An Inspiration

This fun card was made with a base of Thick White CS with a layer of 4-1/4”x5-1/2” Dandy Garden DSP. Over the base, I used a layer of 3-3/4”x5-1/2” Vellum CS, embossed with the Subtle 3D EF, and adhered with Mini Glue Dots. I popped up the 3-1/4”x5-1/2” of White CS, embossed with the Greenery EF with Dimensionals. The dragonflies were inked with Memento Black ink on Vellum CS. I then colored them with the Mossy Meadow, Flirty Flamingo, and Blackberry Bliss Blends. I used Wink of Stella to make the dragonflies wings’ sparkly.
