Delicate Wings - April 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit & Scrapbooking

For my Friday weekly Fri-Yay Kit-Together Facebook Live, I shared the Delicate Wings Paper Pumpkin Kit. We had a little drizzle that day and what better way to brighten someone’s rainy day then getting lovely butterfly cards made with the Delicate Wings Paper Pumpkin Kit! The gorgeous foil accented papers and delicate details of the wings are stunning!

Delicate Wings

I cannot help but go on and on with how gorgeous the recent Paper Pumpkin Kits have been in the last 6 months. The Delicate Wings Paper Pumpkin Kit for April is a stunner! Just look at that champagne foil peaking through the wings.

This amazing kit has refills available for $11.50, #164395! You need to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin to purchase, but it is so worth it! Don’t forget the Thanks & Beyond add-on dies for only $12.00, #164397! So sweet!

My sweetest little fairy butterfly was the focus for this simple spread. As you can see, I used a 12”x12” Pretty In Pink CS base, then used the kit butterfly stamp and Versamark to make a pretty and subtle background pattern on the cardstock.

Other than a Basic Black CS photo layer, layer behind the champagne foil, and the Pretty In Pink butterflies (cut from the Thanks and Beyond Dies, the rest are all the kit!

The three card bases have the gorgeous champagne foil accents on both front and back, so I was able to accent my 3-1/2”x5” photo with both the Lost Lagoon and Basic Gray cards, then cut my other two photos down to fit a 4”x4” layer of the white with champagne accents.

I cut down the champagne foil butter fly down to 4”x4” as well to create a fun layout. I even found that the white & butterfly layer and angled layer are great for journaling!

And of course all the butterflies were peppered about the spread, adding a lovely 3D element as well!

The champagne foil printed sentiment under the butterfly was the best sentiment for this sweet spread. I just love how her daddy was walking with her down the road as she was learning to ride her bike! It’s like it was meant to be! So sweet! You can watch my video for my idea process.

I even had leftovers to make a sweet card for a friend that just lost her fur baby.

I used the other half of the card base over an A2 Basic White CS base, cutting it to 4-1/4”x5-1/2”, then stamping the sentiment to a scrap of the white card base and putting it over the champagne foil scrap and a couple of butterflies as well. I stamped the butterflies in Lost Lagoon ink on a Basic White Medium Envelope as well! So easy and beautiful! (I still have lots of scraps).
