You’re So Hip

Happy 4th of July my friends. I hope you are having a wonderful day.

This cute card is so fun, with 2022-23 In Color 6”x6” Glimmer Paper in Tahitian Tide for the waves and splashes. I used the Sweet Sorbet CS for the cute boat die, and the 3”x4-1/4” layer of the card, and a 3-1/8”x4-3/8” layer of Tahitian Tide CS. Using Tahitian Tide ink and a Blending Brush with 2-7/8”x4-1/8” a piece of Basic White CS cut with the Basic Border Dies to get the clouds. The Hippo dies for this set are so cute, and I used Silver Foil for the little boat engine, and Basic White CS for the life ring bouy, with the White Bakers Twine for the rope.

For the adorable hippo, I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White CS, then colored with Light & Dark Gray Granite. The sailors cap is hand drawn and fussy cut. I added a few Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems, from the new July-August 2022 Mini Catalog. For the sentiment, I used Tahitian Tide ink on Basic White CS, then cut it out with one of the Mini Pocket Envelope die.
