Garden Wishes Bundle - Dandy Garden Suite
Oh Dandy Garden Suite… how do I love thee!! There is so much to this amazing suite that I can only begin to utilize all the adorable elements! This post is primarily about the Garden Wishes Bundle, as I feel it has not received nearly enough attention! While dandelions can be a gardener’s worst nemesis, it can also be a charming element to wildflower fields, pollen sources for bees, a wonder for small children as they pick and gift bouquets to their adoring moms or blow the dandelion seeds to kingdom come!!
base is Basic White Thick CS. For the next layer of 4”x5-1/4” Bumblebee CS, with stips of Dandy Garden DSP ( 7/8”x5-1/8” strip & a 3”x5-1/8” strip) glued down to the Bumblebee CS. Once adhered, the entire piece was embossed with the Subtle 3D EF, then glued down to the card base. The sweet little bee is from the Dandy Garden DSP, cut with the dies from the Dandy Wishes Dies and popped up with Dimensionals. I added the Metallic Pearls and the Misty Moonlight/Silver Bakers Twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. More pics below…
Meadow, Bumblebee, and Blackberry Bliss ink, applied with the wonderful new Blending Brushes (watch this video for how to apply the ink). The image was then stamped with Mossy Meadow ink with the Garden Wishes stamp set. I layered this inked piece over Mossy Meadow CS (2”-4-1/4”), and popped up with Dimensionals. The verse was inked with Blackberry Bliss ink with a verse from the Garden Wishes stamp set on Basic White CS, and die cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies, layered over 1-1/8”x2-3/4” of Mossy Meadow CS, glued on one side, and popped up with Dimensionals on the side that hangs over. After inking the Basic White CS with Blending Brushes, I stamped the and punched dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden Bundle, and popped it up with Dimensionals. Really the Mossy Meadow pieces were scraps, and I liked how they were not coordinated in size with the above or below layers. A fun card! More pics below…
