March Stamp Class using Heart & Home Suite
This amazing Heart & Home Suite Collection has so many beautiful components, I can hardly keep track of it all!
I have wanted to get to this beautiful Heart and Home Suite Collection since I was introduced to it back in October 2021 at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage@Home conference, but did not have a chance to until I was prepping for this class and used it in a couple of upline swaps and tutorials.
In this collection are two beautiful bundles, Blessings of Home and Honeybee Home, along with the Heart & Home 12”x12” Designer Series Paper, Hive 3D Embossing Folder, 3/8” Denim Ribbon, Classic Matte Dots (in White, Vanilla, Gray & Black), Heart & Home Memories & More Card Pack, and Memories & More Cards & Envelopes… wow!! I am happy to say my class was able to play with all of these items in making their fun cards.

This fun little card I CASE’d from Mary Bush is a great graduation gift card or a card to hand out to those you want to encourage. The wonderful thing about the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, is they can be sent as is, or can be embellished with just a sentiment or stamped and die cut images. I used the Honeybee Home Bundle (Honeybee Home Stamp set and the Honeybee Blooms dies) for this cute card with the Bees die cut from the Heart & Home DSP! I first glued down 1/2 of the Heart & Home Doilies in gray for the front with the other 1/2 on the inside of the card.
I used the (retired) Gold Shimmer Vellum and cut it with the 2-7/8” Layering Circle dies, then embossed it with the Hive 3D EF, cut it in 1/2, then placed it over the doily on the outside and inside of the card. I used a scrap of Basic White CS to stamp my flowers and sentiment with Basic Gray ink. I cut out the flowers with the Honeybee Bloom dies and the sentiment with the banner from Tasteful Label dies. My foliage was cut using Cinnamon Cider and Misty Moonlight CS, and adhered with Glue Dots. I then popped up my flowers and bees using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Before placing my sentiment at the top, I used a 2” scrap of the Denim Ribbon folded in half and adhered with Glue Dots. I then popped it up using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The final touch is using the Classic Matte Dots in White. Cute card! More info below…

This simple yet pretty card I CASE’d from Danielle Bennenk, as it helped me use layers differently than I typically do. I used the sentiment from Honeybee Home, and the dies from Tasteful Labels and Flowers of Home dies. I tied the ribbon around the DSP before gluing it down to the Hive 3D EF honeycomb layer, and glued both to the card front. My verse and Pale Papaya flowers were popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the foliage and Bumblebee Trinket was glued down with Glue dots. More info below…

This lovely card was another that I CASE’d, this time from Arlene Ross, but addend Angela touches with the blended back ground, Gingham Ribbon, and different embellishments. What was most important about this card is I wanted to use the Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper (to show my customers, and make it an Easter card). This card is also a fun fold (I know, a rarity for me), so while I have the basic card base (4-1/4”x5-1/2 folded) in Pool Party CS, I scored at 2-3/4” and 1-1/2” from both ends. Whenever I fold my cards from the score marks, there may be some extra braising with your bone folder that needs to be done get them to close perfectly together.
Put largest Shimmery White CS through Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the next to largest Scalloped Contours dies, then using the blending brush and the Pool Party ink pad, add color to the layer. Add drops of water and splatter black ink to the layer. Glue Supple Shimmer SP to diagonal wood plank DSP and then scalloped layer on top. Wrap ribbon around layers and tie into bow on left side of front. Glue down to left side of card front. Glue vertical word plank DSP to inside left side of card. Glue small 1” strip of DSP to inside right of card.
Using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp large flower on 3”x4-1/4”, stamp sentiment to small scrap, and stamp flowers to 3-1/4”x4-1/4” Shimmery White CS for inside layer. Use Blends to color flowers, leaves & stems. Die cut flowers and sentiment with dies. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, add die cut flowers to left side of front, tucking the stems under bow. Add die cut sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals and tuck under flower. Add Classic Matte Dots and Artistry Blooms sequins to card front. Stamp the large flowers to envelope front. More info below…

This card is the larger of the two sizes in the Hear & Home Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. I love this size of card, just a little bigger and I do not have to waste two sheets of 8-1/2x11 CS in order to make two cards. Take 2nd largest scalloped die to cut out the middle of the card front and set aside. Fold card in half and braise fold with bone folder. Glue the DSP to the larger piece of the Misty Moonlight CS, then glue to card front, centered both ways. Glue doily to lower left side. Glue cut-out striped scalloped piece to the smaller Misty Moonlight CS, the pop it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere to card front.
Take smaller piece of Shimmery White CS and die cut with smaller scalloped die, then add Misty Moonlight ink with Blending Brush and add splatters of water and Blend ink. Stamp sentiment in Cinnamon Cider on small strip of Shimmery White CS and die cut with Messages die.
Take largest piece of the Shimmery White CS and the Envelope and stamp the large flowers on both with the Misty Moonlight ink. Die cut the large flower and set aside. Use Wink of Stella brush and use it to watercolor the center ink in the flowers to the outside edges for a subtle petal color.
Pop up the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the card front, somewhat diagonally from lower left to upper right. Add sentiment across, adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to both ends. Take Cinnamon Cider scrap and die cut out foliage and small blossoms. Add Metallic Pearls as desired. Add line of blossoms to inside of card. More info below…
