Peony Garden Suite
This lovely new Stampin’ Up! Peony Garden Suite makes it so easy to create stunning cards. The suite includes so many beautiful elements and the colors of the Designer Series Papers are amazing!! However, the possibilities with colors are only limited to your imagination.
The anticipation to get into the Peony Garden Suite has been building and this was the day! Thanks to all the folks that went before me with instructions! It came together quickly! I adore making 3D flowers, and with a little curving of edges of petals & leaves, and lots of dimensionals, it is popping off the card perfectly! I used the Peony dies for the petals and leaves & Tasteful Label dies for the sentiment; CS: Peony Garden DSP, Shimmery White, Gray Granite, Old Olive & Mossy Meadow. Embellishments: Elegant Faceted Gems, Square Doilies, & Shimmer ribbon; Ink: Gray Granite pad, Petal Pink blends & Stampin’ Write. Used the Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend on vellum doily. I’ve provided angles to get an idea of how much I curved the petals. To curl the petal, I used a round pencil, and just gently bend the paper. Isn’t the Dainty Diamond embossing divine? It just makes the shimmery white cardstock shine! Video coming soon…

Had to get another Peony Garden Suite in, as I saw a couple watercolor peonies that were lovely. While the watercolor paper was still wet, I again curled the petals & leaves and used lots of dimensionals to pop it up. Dies: Peony & Tasteful Labels; CS: watercolor paper, Vellum, Basic Gray, Whisper White, & Shimmery White; Ink: Basic Gray, Melon Membo, Shaded Spruce & Mint Macaroon, Melon Mambo Stampin Write & water painter; Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder, Elegant Faceted Gems, Shimmer Ribbon.
While I absolutely love love love the Peony dies, there is so much more you can do with this suite. Below are just a few fun and lovely cards that can be made. As you can see, the DSP allows for color to be added to make the image and card your own.
