Sale-a-bration FREE Summer Shadow Dies with Shaded Summer Stamp Set

I was so excited that the Sale-a-bration Catalog had coordinating items to go with the 2021-22 Annual Catalog. I received the Shaded Summer Stamp set as a free gift from Stampin’ Up! and LOVE that they decided to add a coordinating set of dies (Summer Shadow dies) that I could get also for FREE out of the Sale-a-bration catalog!! These flowers are stunning by themselves or go great with the stamp set.

One of my team members gave us a creative card challenge and I used the Shaded Summer stamp set (from the 2021-22 Annual Catalog for the verse), and the new coordinating Sale-a-bration FREE Summer Shadow dies for my focal point. It ended up becoming such an easy card with the dies!

**Measurements**
**Highland Heather CS**: 9-1/2″x4-1/4″ score at 4″, 4-1/2”x3-1/2”
**Highland Heather** & **Gorgeous Grape CS**: scrap for flowers
**Soft Succulent** & **Mint Macaron CS**: scraps for leaves
**Basic White CS**: 5-1/4″x 4″
**Basic White cardstock**: approx. 4″ x 2-1/2″
**Hand-Penned DSP**: 4″x3-3/4″

For this card (measurements and cardstock colors above), I used the Scalloped Contours dies for both the Highland Heather CS and Basic White CS layers. I love those scallops as you can tell from all my other blogs. I glued the scalloped layers to the top flap. I used the Pastel Pearls as embellishment for the final touch. more pics below…

**SOME friendships** card

This fun black/white card was made using not only the **FREE Summer Shadow dies** along with the **Shaded Summer stamp set**, but also the **FREE Beautifully Penned 12”x12” DSP**. The floral on top was stamped in **Tuxedo Black Memento ink** on **Basic White CS**, cut with the **FREE Summer Shadow dies** and popped up with **Stampin’ Dimensionals**. I placed it over one of the **Stitched So Sweetly dies** (2-3/4”X3-3/4”) in **Basic Black CS**. I then layered it on a 3”x4” piece of **FREE Beautifully Penned DSP** over a 3-1/8”x4-1/8” piece of **Basic Black CS** and popped up on **Stampin’ Dimensionals** as well. These layers were put on a 4”x5-1/4” piece of the **FREE**

DSP over a Basic White Thick CS card base. The verse was also die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly die (2-1/4”x1-1/8”) and the foliage is from the Shaded Summer stamp set and cut with the FREE Summer Shadow dies. I added Basic Pearls for the final touch. more photos below…
