Eden’s Garden Collection Gifts

I have always loved making homemade gifts for Christmas since I was little and my mom helped to encourage our creativity. Of course, we did not have much money, so handmade gifts were all we could do, however, the joy it brought to our little hearts is still what keeps me making gifts even now.

Eden’s Garden Collection includes the Eden’s Garden Bundle that will be included in the upcoming January - June 2022 Mini Catalog, however the stunning Ever Eden 12”x12” Specialty Designers Series Paper, Ever Eden 12”x12” Cotton Paper, and Garden Gems are exclusive (while supplies last) until January 3, 2022.

For my November stamp class, we used the Eden’s Garden Collection so the paper and fun verses absolutely made these gifts from sweet to amazing!! I started with the Dollar Tree for my base back in October, still not sure how I was going to apply the Collection. However, once I started, the gifts came together so nicely with the stunning paper.

Note Pad make-over

I got a number of 4”x6” notepads for my class and we just used the lovely gold printed Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper for the cover, Soft Succulent CS for the back side, Evening Evergreen CS for the lovely band, and I found Gold Foil Duck Tape for the binding edge.

Ombre Gift Bag

This fun gift bag holds the note pad. To work with the stunning Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Ever Eden Cotton Paper, I used only the Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen Ombre Gift Bags from the 2021-22 Annual Catalog. I used the Wintery 3D EF on just the front side of the bag and added the Gold Shimmer Ribbon for the bow (held in place with glue dots), with a tag made from the Label Me Lovely to punch the Metallic Gold Specialty Paper, and the Elegant Tag for the verse. I used the Christmas to Remember cling stamp set for the sentiment. The pine boughs and cones were cut using the Christmas Pinecone Dies on Basic White CS and the Metallic Specialty Paper for that sweet frosty look. Add the Garden Gems as desired. more pics below…

Desk Top Calendar & Post-It note holder

This fun calendar and post-it note holder is a fun gift to make. I got my tear-off 2022 calendar (2-1/4”x3”) from Gracious Bee Greetings/Etsy, and they came 12 in a pack. I used Basic White CS as the base at 4-1/4”x11” (card base layer scored at 5-1/2” & 2-3/4”), folded in half & fold again at 2-3/4” back towards the card back to make a triangle of sorts that will make a place for your card front to sit on (think of this as a fun fold). You will need two 4-1/2”x5-3/8” pieces of Evening Evergreen CS for the inside and outside. Glue the one to the inside, but on the outside of the card, glue it to the bottom 2-3/4” portion only (see image below left). You want the

top portion to be able to kick up with the calendar on it. You will need four pieces of the Ever Eden SDSP at least 4” wide. For the inside, you will need a 4”x4” for below the post-it note, with a 4”x1-1/4” piece of coordinating paper for the inside top. For the front, you will need a piece 4”x3-1/2” for under the calendar, and the remaining 2” will overlap for the lower portion of the top layer. Under the calendar, I used a 3-1/8”x2-3/8” Gold Foil Sheets layer, and a 3-1/4”x2-1/2” piece of Soft Succulent CS. Under the post-it note, you will need 3-1/8”x3-1/3” Gold Foil Sheets layer over a 3-1/4”x3-1/4” Soft Succulent CS layer. Glue your layers down (hold off adding calendar or post-it until you are done with ribbon & other items on front).

I used a 4” band of Evening Evergreen CS for the foliage banner for the front under the 1/4” Gold Shimmer Ribbon (18”). After tying the bow in the front, I added the leaf sprigs (in Gold Foil Sheets, Soft Succulent & Ever Eden SDSP) using a glue dot on the stems and placed under the bow, and then popped the leaf ends up with the Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the sentiment, stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on Basic White CS, I used the Messages die with the cute little banners on each side. This die is useful for small verses. Now that your layers, ribbon and foliage is down, glue down your calendar to the front and the post-it note to the inside per the above picture. Add embellishments if you want. I used the Gilded Gems, but it is so pretty, they really were not needed.

Kraft Gift Box

The Kraft Gift Box is a super easy way to give gifts of a package of cards or the above Desk Top Calendar and Post-it Note holder. All I did was use a 2”x12” strip of the Ever Eden SDSP, wrap it around loosely so it works like a belly band and adhered it with Tear & Tape. I Then used 23” long piece of the Evening Evergreen 3/8” Chevron Weave Ribbon to wrap around the belly band. I then used a 3-1/4” square piece of Evening Evergreen CS to die cut the pretty background of my sentiment using the Encircled In Beauty dies. The verse was stamped in Soft Succulent ink using the Christmas to Remember stamp set, cut with the 2” Layering Circle die. Add the Garden Gems, and your gift is done!

This sweet little frame was another dollar tree find. I purchased it before I found an amazing card by Ann Alexander and CASE’d it for this project. The frame is an imperfect 6”x9-3/16”, so I used a half of a 12”x12” sheet of the Ever Eden SDSP. The subtle gold print is so gorgeous, it makes for an amazing art piece. I added 3”x5” piece of the Ever Eden Cotton Paper in Evening Evergreen, die cut with the Stitched Greenery die for that subtle background. The layered hearts are from the Heart Punch Pack, and I used the same Ever Eden SDSP for the top layer, and Soft Succulent CS for the scalloped layer. Once I had popped it up using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I started adding the foliage (Vellum CS, Petal Pink CS, Soft Succulent CS, & Gold Foil Sheets), tucked under the heart top and right side. For the sentiment, I used a scrap of 1/2” Basic White CS, cut to fit the remaining portion of the label die from the Eden dies after I cut one end off, stamped in Soft Succulent ink. Before popping up the sentiment with Stampin Dimensionals, be sure to add the gold Elegant Trim with Glue Dots. Add your Garden Gems as desired.

I am super thrilled with the end result and the picture does not need to be for a baby. It can be for a friend, lover, spouse, sibling, etc… I loved this Collection so much, I made cards as well… more pics & ideas below….
