Happy Houseplants Kit Mar 5 Written By Angela Meyer Lovely Home Decor I love it when Stampin’ Up! adds home decor as their kits! The Happy Houseplants Kit is a great way to add cheery green to any room! The kit includes four 7” square white wood frames that can be hung or set on a surface and the matted 3D pictures of plants make for a bright and verdant focal point for a wall or bookshelves. For my Fri-Yay Kit-Together last week, I featured the Happy Houseplants kit and for an alternate, I added the beautiful Fresh As A Daisy 12”x12” DSP to the matte for two of the frames to coordinate with my guest bath decor. The mattes are 6”x6” and 7/8” wide, so cut a 12”x12 piece of DSP and then cut out the middle with my cutter. The colors are rich and lovely, adding so much to the overall look. My YouTube video with instructions is available below. I love how much the leaves pop by curling them with my bone folder and adding dimensionals. I added the acetate protector/front to make sure they are not ruined by splashing water or steam. The final look is just fabulous and looks great in my guest bath! Have you tried this kit! It’s so fun to add your personal touch! Angela Meyer http://wildvioletsart.com
