Easy Gift Bag

For this darling little gift bag, I used a number of elements, including the In Good Taste Bundle and the Forever Flourishing dies. It comes in handy when gifting lotion, gloves or any other tall item.

I used both sides of the same sheet of In Good Taste DSP and you will find they pair up nicely. For inks, I used Blushing Bride (flowers), Blackberry Bliss (verse & foliage in background), and Smokey Slate in background and on verse. Cardstock: In Good Taste DSP, Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Vellum, Smokey Slate, and for the gold, used Forever Gold Laser-cut SP for that extra wow. I layered a piece of vellum behind the greeting for a lovely 3D pop. The embellishment was the Elegant Faceted Gems from the Peony Garden Suite. The gift bag template is using nearly all of an 8-1/2”x11” sheet of cardstock. Image with dimensions and instructions are below.

Vertical fold lines are at 1/2”, 1-1/4”, 2”, 5-3/4”, 6-1/2”, & 7-1/4”. The one horizontal fold line is at 7-1/4”. Cut where shown, then fold everything with a bone folder. I used punched holes to thread a ribbon to keep the box closed.

The Good Things…

This card was just what I wanted for a more masculine feel. I used all the items from the suite, with the exception of the Stitched Rectangle Dies for the lush tweed DSP. I wanted the In Good Taste wood elements to have a darker look, so used the sponge dauber and Early Espresso ink to darken them and around the edges of the card base cardstock (Thick Whisper White). The verse was also Early Espresso (dies from suite), and the feathers and other elements were Sahara Sand. I used the Tasteful Textile embossing folder on the card base front. I fussy cut around the two feathers for the 3D feel. More pictures of the whole card can be found below.
