Racing By Stamp Set

For my Marvelous Monday FB Live this week, I took the opportunity to play with the new Racing By stamp set!

I purchased this stamp set for exactly that, as our grandson had a racing themed birthday this year and I wanted to scrapbook it. I am going to show you how to make your racecar look like it is literally zooming by on the page!! So fun!

Racing By is a new stamp set from the 2024-25 Annual Catalog, page 98. This cute stamp set is for those little (or big) racing enthusiasts and makes great cards for birthdays, congratulations, encouragement, and even a fabulous scrapbook layout!

Way To Go

This simple but adorable card was so simple to make and created an easy way to give your racing enthusiast a boost of encouragement! The technique I used was stamping a shadow, much like when I was playing with the The Best There Is Paper Pumpkin Kit last month. Rather than have the car sit there stationary, I wanted it to look like it is racing by! #simplestamping

Racing by to say…

This card is just a step up from the simple card by adding the Poppy Parade CS layer and adding 3D elements like the banners (from Filled With Fun Bundle) and fussy cutting the flags and trophy. The trophy was colored with Daffodil Delight Blends to get that gleaming gold look. The car and banner were stamped with Blueberry Bushel (such a great blue). Sticking with just the 3 primary colors really make the card pop!

This card had much of what was done above, but I added layers to the sentiment, changed up the colors on the car, added a fussy cut ribbon and added the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch label in Poppy Parade.

I had fun playing with Racing By stamp set, and by making a simple, casual and avid card, I was able to apply those elements to a scrapbook page! I need my photos to come in and then finish the pages and I will upload them to my blog.
