Making Christmas gifts is a fun way to spend a day! Stampin' Up! makes gift making so easy with their coordinated colors of ink, cardstock and embellishments. Snowflake Splendor Suite has stunning colors in the Snowflake Splendor DSP (ON SALE UNTIL OCTOBER 31) that begged to be used for this project. What’s better than a cute gift box and shaker ornament that comes together so easily with just a few steps. A gift card or money can be added to the box for a gift that will be loved by young or aged alike!

Snowflake Mini Pizza Gift Box

I love how the Snowflake Splendor Suite elements were so perfect for this adorable box.

For the box, I used Night of Navy and Balmy Blue Ink for the snowflakes on the Whisper White Mini Pizza Box, and used the 3-1/4”x3-1/4” Night of Navy & Silver Foil cardstock, along with 3”x3” of the Snowflake Splendor DSP. For the tag, I used the Stitched Nested Labels and verse is from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set with Night of Navy ink on Shimmery White cardstock. The ribbon is from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack

for the bakers twine and the faux linen whisper white ribbon. The Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes add just the right amount of elegance against the tag and the Night of Navy snowflake made with the So Many Snowflake dies. More photos below…

Below is a video that shows how to stamp and assemble the gift box.

Snowflake Shaker Ornament

How fun is this adorable shaker ornament for Christmas! I just love the colors of the beautiful Snowflake Splendor DSP and the stunning iridescences of the Snowflake Sequins and Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes! I used a 3-1/4” piece of the gorgeous Balmy Blue Shimmer Paper and two of the Layering Circle dies to make the ornament frame. For the Balmy Blue Shimmer frame and the Foam Adhesive Sheet layer that gives the shaker ornament it’s depth, I used the 3-1/4” scalloped die, along with the 2-1/2” circle die. I placed the dies upside down on my table, placed them where I wanted them, and used washi-tape

to hold it in place to cut my frame and Foam Adhesive Sheet layer. For the Window Sheet and Snowflake Splendor DSP layer, I used the 3” circle die. I used the 3-1/4” scallop dies for the single Balmy Blue cardstock layer for the back of the ornament. For the snowflakes inside and outside, I used the So Many Snowflake dies on the Night of Navy, Shimmery White cardstock, and Balmy Blue Shimmer Paper. For the ribbon, I used the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack for the bakers twine. For the blue ribbon, I used both (depending on video or photo) the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack for the thin night of navy ribbon or the Misty Moonlight 1/4” Ribbon (both will work). See below video on how to put together this fun ornament. More photos below…
