Stampin’ Up! Card Keeper Kit and Alternates
CARD KEEP KIT
For my Marvelous Monday FB live this week, I showcased the wonderful Card Keeper Kit from Stampin’ Up!. This kit is perfect for keeping your handmade cards organized while crafting beautiful greetings for every occasion.
I also shared some easy alternate card designs using the kit’s elements to inspire you to stretch your creativity even further and make twice as many cards. Whether you love making cards for birthdays, special occasions, or just to brighten someone’s day, this kit has you covered.
This kit comes with everything you need to make 10 beautiful all-occasion cards and only $25.00. With a variety of sentiments, you can create an assortment of cards fit for birthdays, saying thanks, and more. And don’t miss the coordinating card container! This cute storage option is the perfect solution for keeping these all-occasion cards organized and ready to go. By making the alternates I show you, you can get 20 cards for the price with just few pieces extra!
TWICE AS MANY CARDS!
These fun alternates came together quickly and easily by adding Basic White Thick CS after cutting the kit cards in 1/2. I made two A2 card bases and glued the front and back to the base. For the polka dots, I just added a 4-1/4”x2-3/4” layer of Pool Party Two-Toned CS. I first adhered the vellum circle from the kit. I had 2-3/4”x3/4” scraps of Night of Navy CS that I used to layer the pre-printed sentiment and gold foil leaf from the kit. I then popped them up using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added Adhesive Backed Dots For Days embellishments.
The 2nd card, I used the Labeled With Love Bundle so I could get extra birthday cards from the kit, but you can use whatever bundle you have on hand for sentiments and labels. I used the card back and stamped the gift boxes in Pool Party ink, then used a 1-1/2”x4-1/4” scrap of Wildflower Birthday DSP for the front layer. I then stamped the sentiment and label outline in Night of Navy ink on White Willow CS and assembled as shown. In these photos, I used the Adhesive Backed Dots For Days as the embellishment. So easy and now I have more birthday cards to send out!
More easy cards
For these cheerful cards, I cut the kit card in half, then cut the daisy front in 1/2 again so I had two 4-1/4”x2-3/4” pieces. Again I used Basic White Thick CS and made two A2 card bases and glued the kit card back to the base. I then glued the daisy front to the card front and then used a 3”x3/8” scrap of Flirty Flamingo CS, the pre-printed sentiment and the kit green leaves and gold foiled leaves all popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the 2nd card, I again used the same elements as above, but added a 4-1/4”x5-1/2” layer of Old Olive CS to create my card front base. I stamped the butterfly with Labeled with Love Bundle in Old Olive ink, then added the other elements after I stamped the sentiment and label outline in Night of Navy ink on White Willow CS and assembled as shown. Both cards are using the Adhesive Backed Dots For Days as the embellishment.
