Wildflower Celebration Scrapbooking Workshop Kit & Collection
Celebrate Life’s Special Moments
For my last week Scrapbooking & Scripture FB live, I shared how I created this beautiful scrapbook layout using the Wildflower Celebration Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! This two-page spread captures a special baby shower celebration from 2016, and the floral elements, soft colors, and layered details really bring the memories to life and match the colors of the shower decor.
Wildflower Celebration Scrapbooking Workshop Kit provides enough stickers, punch-out art, DSP, Two-Toned Cardstock, and White Willow Cardstock to make 3 two-page layouts. To add to your scrapbook efforts you can use add the Wildflower Celebrations Stamp Set and the Wildflower Celebrations Two-Toned Cardstock. I just love the colors! One of new scrapbooking products I used for the first time, was the Flip Flaps to allow for more photos for a layout. See my video link below and how it worked out so well.
The Design & Inspiration
For this layout, I wanted to highlight the joy and warmth of the baby shower for my stepdaughter Christina when she was pregnant with our granddaughter. The kit provided gorgeous floral die cuts, soft pastel papers, and delicate embellishments that made it easy to create a fresh and elegant design that matched beautifully with my photos. I used the layout #3, but changed a few colors of the DSP to better match my photos. The background features a subtle swirl pattern, which adds a touch of movement and whimsy without overwhelming the focal points. I also added some of gold foiled ephemera from the Wildflower Birthday Suite Collection DSP.
To frame my photos, I used a combination of layering techniques, mixing stickers, punch-out art, patterned paper made into banners, and dimensionals to add depth. I also tucked floral elements behind and around the photos for a natural, flowing effect. The little pops of gold from the embellishments add just the right amount of sparkle!
One of my favorite things about this project is the dimensional layering. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to lift some of the floral elements off the page, creating a more dynamic, interactive feel. The close-up shots really capture how the flowers seem to bloom off the layout!
This scrapbook layout was a joy to create, and it’s a perfect example of how a well-designed kit can make memory-keeping both easy and fun. If you’re looking for inspiration for your next project, consider layering florals, mixing textures, and adding small details like pearls or gold embellishments to make your pages shine!
