Stunning Scrapbook Pages with the Wildflower Birthday Suite Collection

Are you looking for a quick and effortless way to create a scrapbook layout that captures a celebratory moment? The stunning Wildflower Birthday Suite Collection from Stampin’ Up! is perfect for bringing your creative ideas to life with minimal effort!

For this week’s Scrapbooking & Scripture Facebook Live, I featured the gorgeous suite for an easy yet wonderful set of scrapbook pages.

The Wildflower Birthday Suite Collection offers: Pre-cut Elements: No need for extra fussy cutting! The suite includes two pages of gorgeous gold foil accented pre-die-cut pieces, saving you time; Elegant Color Palette: Soft pastels combined with bold floral designs and gold metallic accents create a timeless look; Versatility: While this layout was created for a birthday, the designs are flexible for other occasions like weddings, anniversaries, or everyday memories.

A Perfect Celebration

I wanted to showcase how strips of DSP can make for a stunning scrapbook page. This can be really handy when you have lots of extra strips of DSP.

This layout showcases a soft and cheerful design. Using strips of patterned paper from Wildflower Birthday 12x12 DSP form a stylish background, while layered the floral pre-printed die-cut pieces and embellishments add dimension and charm. The centerpiece is ready to hold a favorite photo, framed by floral clusters and playful accents like a balloon and tassel banner. The balance of colors and textures ensures that your photo will be the star of the page.

Watch my how-to YouTube video for more tips…

For this layout, I started with the Wildflower Birthday 12x12 DSP from the suite, then added a 11x11 layer of White Willow cardstock (see my video for how I cut most of the DSP out of the middle to use for my layout). I then splattered the background with the Lost Lagoon Dark Blend.

Using 1/2” wide strips of DSP in varying length were then adhered in a pleasing horizontal pattern. I then popped up a selection of flowers and leaves from the pre-printed die-cut pieces at the top left and bottom right. My photo is 3-1/2”x5”, so used layers of DSP in 1/8” increased increments. I offset the DSP to show the pretty colors as they bring out the photo I am using.

I then stamped the first half of my layout title “hooray for” in Blueberry Bushel ink. I then added the banner, balloon, floral bouquet, and cake, popping them all up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the White and Petal Pink lace, I showed how to make that with the Elegant Tag Topper punch in my last two videos and had scraps I though would look nice in the page. The sentiment tags from Wonderful Thoughts stamp set, “You’re loved,” “You matter,” and “You’re wonderful,” provide heartfelt expressions, making this page versatile for any celebratory occasion. My final touch was a tripple bow using the Gold Open Weave Trim.

Birthday Cake Bliss

The second page I created prior to my FB Live, is a perfect match, celebrating a special birthday milestone. The tiered cake design, created with coordinating DSP, steals the show. Adorned with floral garlands and a charming banner topper, this cake design is complemented by gold foil details for an extra touch of elegance.

A cluster of balloons adds a festive flair, with the “7th” marking a milestone year (customizable for any age). The floral accents at the bottom right complete the design, framing the page beautifully.

What this adorable layout hides are three tabs with pull-out photos (two on the bottom left and one on top of cake). Watch my video or see below gallery for where the extra photos are. It will make great hide-n-seek for my granddaughter once she sees the layout.

The base of this layout is made the same way as the first, I used three pieces of DSP to make the cake ( 3-3/4x7, 3-1/2x5-1/2 & 3-1/4x4). I made sure to leave room under the cake bottom and from the cake top for photos to slide in & out. I stamped the rest of the title and the other sentiment. I then popped up flowers, garlands and balloons with Stampin’ Dimensionals to decorate the cake. My final touch was the coordinating Party Dots.
