Daisy Daydream Paper Pumpkin Storage Box
Daisy Daydream Box
I absolutely love the Daisy Daydream Paper Pumpkin box!! Do you wonder what to do with all your Paper Pumpkin past kit stamp sets and instructions? Or all your boxes for that matter. I made a great storage box from the gorgeous Daisy Daydream – March 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit boxes yesterday, in my Marvelous Monday FB Live! Isn’t the box so sweet?
I have been using past Paper Pumpkin Kit boxes to make a storage place for my past kit instructions and stamp sets over the last 5 years. I CASE’d this from another creative crafter years ago, and no longer have their info to give them credit. I like to choose a box I especially enjoy the cover design. This month’s box is the adorable winner.
You will need 3 boxes to make this storage box. If you typically only buy one kit, the refill sends them in boxes and can allow you to have 3 boxes. It measures 6-1/4” wide x 9-1/2” long x 6-1/2” tall. It stacks so nicely and I use the END side for my label of what is inside. Two years worth of instructions, stamp set, and stamp sheet. Prior, I used empty stamp cases, but found I did not have the room after a couple of years.
As you can see above, you will use parts from three full size Paper Pumpkin Kit boxes. As it works out, the existing folds work for your box as well. Left photo, I am only making 1 cut, using the box base in full for the storage TOP and the box lid will be come a SIDE (keep tabs to glue box together). The middle image is cutting the lid off again for a SIDE. You will need to cut off all four sides off the kit box base to get one BOTTOM piece, measuring 6-1/4”x9-1/4”. The last image (red box, as I used my last box for my live video), you will need a portion of the kit lid to create one END, measuring 6-1/4”x8”. Use the box base to cut another 6-1/4”x8” piece for the second END. Again, the current folds will be your box folds as well. You will have a total of 6 pieces (TOP, BOTTOM, two SIDE, and two END).

Snip the END tabs so they are at an angle. To assemble, lay your pieces side-by-side and line up the top and glue them together with the SIDE tabs all the way around. Let glue set in between placements. You should have four sides with the tabs all at the bottom. Place your box upside down and glue on the BOTTOM piece to the tabs of your new box. Add top and you are done.

As you finally put your lid on, you will note that all the TOP writing is upside down. I had remainder pieces from my boxes that I pealed the top layers from, and either glued on the entire side to my TOP sides or as you can see in this picture, I used my P-Touch to add the label I wanted. My video gives more details.
I hope you give this storage box a try. I love this box so much!!
