Greetings for All

This week, I started my Marvelous Monday FB Live going through all the packs and showing how to add a greeting in a quick pinch (January is a heavy birthday month for me). I made these lovely cards to use up the Wildflower Birthday DSP cards (yes, using just DSP for the base) and adding the pre-cut foiled elements. Rather than stamp the greeting, I showed how I just added the sentiment, even coloring one with my Stampin’ Write markers. I just love these cards and how easy they came together!!

Get well soon

For this cheerful card I CASE’d from the catalog, using the Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes, you can see that I actually stamped the background for a lovely wow for an already beautiful card. I used the new Elements of Text stamp set for the wow factor and to tie in the pink and peachy colors that much more. I stamped the splatter in Petal Pink ink before adding elements from the Spring Celebrations Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and the green label from the Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. By carefully placing the little butterflies and the sentiment, I was able to reuse the label for a greeting I needed. Don’t forget to add the FREE Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins from Sale-a-bration!!

Love You

Can you believe this stunning card is really from the Celebrate Love Mix & Match Ephemera Pack? Again using the Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes, I stamped the script from Elements of Text stamp set in Bubble Bath ink. I then added just ephemera from the pack in coordinating pinks and purple, adding the Gold Twisted Thread and the FREE Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins from Sale-a-bration. My final touch was adding another label to the envelope for that custom look. I also did a Balmy blue card that looks just as great for those handsome guys in our lives!!

celebrate!

What started as a background experiment, turned into another lovely card. I had just completed 34 cards for a swap using the Storybook Moments Suite Collection frame die (see post for card here). Rather than tuck the pieces away for later (hording), I wanted to use all those perfectly cut out rectangles, so tried a staggered tile layout. They fit perfectly on a 4-1/8”x5-3/8” piece of Basic White cardstock. It took 10 for each background. After gluing down pieces and trimming the excess, I embossed it with my favorite Distressed Tile 3D EF. I added it to a Basic White Thick A2 card base, then added more elements from the Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and Spring Celebrations Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. The final touch was adding the Gold Twisted Thread and the FREE Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins from Sale-a-bration. Just wow!!
