First Spread: Cherished Gatherings
The first layout features vibrant warm tones paired with soft blues and greens. The die-cut floral and leaf embellishments add a dimensional touch, while the layering of patterned papers brings depth and texture. This spread captures a joyful evening spent with friends and family, made even more special with the “Best of Times” and “You & Me” sentiment from the kit’s sticker sheet.
What I love most about this layout is how easy it was to follow the kit’s instructions while adding my own twist! The precut elements made assembling the page quick and fun, and I added a few extra details to make it uniquely mine.
Don’t be afraid to add different sized photos or switch them from veridical to horizontal or wonky! You do you!!
Second Spread: Beach Day Memories
The second layout is a tribute to carefree days at the beach. The torn paper technique beautifully mimics the waves of the ocean, perfectly complementing the soft blue hues and sandy tones of the kit. The “Enjoying the Moment” sentiment and leafy embellishments tie the whole design together, creating a serene and cohesive look.
This layout is a great example of how the Everyday You & Me kit allows you to unleash your creativity! Instead of following the kit’s instructions exactly, I used the elements as inspiration to create a completely custom design. The flexibility of this kit makes it ideal for all types of scrapbookers!
My favorite thing about this layout is that I did not use a single “beach” embellishment or element other than the origami clam shell I folded myself. Just the torn Two-Toned cardstock and photos are enough! Though I did not finish the 2nd page yet, I love it just as it is, without a single embellishment.
