Gift Wrapped Bundle (RETIRED)
I love to make bows on cards and gifts! This fun new Gift Wrapped Bundle in the new August-December 2020 Mini Catalog is my new go-to for cute paper bows!! The bundle includes the Gift Wrapped photopolymer stamp set with 12 cute stamps of bows and verses and the Gift Bow Builder punch with not only the bow, but the bow knot and a little itty bitty tag punch… adorable!
We used this set for my latest Stamp Camp and we had so much fun make a cute gift card holder that i CASE’d off Pinterest from Buckeyeinklings. She has a great video too to help you learn how to put it together, however, I have her dimensions and put some visual aids for where the cuts and folds go (I need visual help). We used the “Funtastic” Plaid Tidings 6"x6" DSP along with the lovely Red & Green Foil Sheets specialty paper to pair with the Gift Wrapped bundle to make the gift card holder. Don’t forget your bling! We used the Holiday Rhinestones but you can use anything to match your project. Dimensions and diagrams below
· Box Base 5 1/2″ x 6″, scored at 3″ along the 6″ side. Also scored at 1/2″ from each edge along the 5 1/2″ side
· Box Top 5 1/2″ x 3″, scored at 1 1/2″ along the 3″ side. Also scored at 1/4″ from each edge along the 5 1/2″ side
· Card Holder (inside box top) 4″ x 4 3/4″, scored at 1″ along the 4 3/4″ side
· Inside verse: Whisper White 2″ x 3 3/4″
· Designer Paper (box base) 2 7/8″ x 4 3/8″ and (box top) 1 3/8″ x 4 7/8″
· Ribbon strips – 5/8” x 6” (under layer) and ½” x 6” (top layer)
· Bow Punch – 3” x 4” (pick two layers if you want the shadow effect)
· Outside verse (Merry Christmas or Happy Birthday) Whisper White ¾” x 4”
To make the bow pop up, I placed my thumb nail on each side of the bow knot, and folded the bow up. I then used a small round pen to bend the bow over (away from you) to give the bow that plump look. I also rounded the bow legs the same way. We layered the bow to give it a shadow/3D effect. Everyone was super pleased and had so much fun! (more ideas below)
