Snowflake Splendor Suite #2
The Snowflake Splendor Suite is so easy to use to come up with stunning cards!
I just could not stop making cards last evening, and found I wanted to try every single sheet of the Snowflake Splendor DSP.
The below card was made with all the same elements as the prior post, but this time I utilized one of the watercolor washed Snowflake Splendor DSP sheets with the darling little Snowflake Wishes stamps for white embossed snowflakes (using the VersaMark Ink Pad and White Embossing Powder), and then stamped more snowflakes with the Coastal Cabana ink pad (straight on and stamped-off). I layered the stamped and embossed DSP on the Whisper White cardstock. I used So Many Snowflake dies with the Coastal Cabana cardstock, Whisper White and Vellum for both the snowflakes and then the Vellum for the Winter Snow embossed layer behind the verse. I also used the Snowflake Splendor ribbon, Artistry Bloom Sequins in Coastal Cabana as well as Wink of Stella Glimmer Pen (can’t stop myself…he he). The verse utilized one of the Tasteful Labels dies on the Coastal Cabana cardstock.
Can you tell how much I love the colors of the Snowflake Splendor Suite? There are so many ideas, I felt like I needed to try everything I thought up!! I used the largest snowflake die from the So Many Snowflake dies, but found that it made more of an opening in the shape of the a snowflake, rather than a stand-alone snowflake. By utilizing the gorgeous Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper, I decided to use the leftover elements for another snowflake. After using the Embossing Machine, I left the pieces in the cardstock, put a dab of glue on each piece, then laid another sheet of DSP over it and then pulled it away with the pieces. It left a pretty and unique snowflake to use as the feature of another card.
I used the following for the below cards: Cardstock - Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Pacific Point, Night of Navy and the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper; Ink: Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point, Highland Heather, and Night of Navy. I love the Tasteful Labels dies and Stitched Nested Label dies for the verses, and the adorable Winter Snow embossing folder on the pool party and the white cardstock. For the background behind the nested label card, I used the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder on the Snowflake Splendor DSP piece. The final touches were made with the Blue Adhesive-backed Gems and the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon.
