Heirloom Arrangements Kit Alternates

Heirloom Arrangements Kit

A kit that does all the heavy lifting with gorgeous results is a HUGE win and makes creativity a breeze!! The Heirloom Arrangements Kit is that kind of kit, and then some!! I saw these adorable boxes that the Stampin’ Up! design team featured and knew I needed to show them to you too! So cute and absolutely the easiest gift box ever!!

THANK YOU

For my Marvelous Monday Facebook live this week, I started off by creating a gorgeous card just as the instructions suggest - because, let’s be real, these kits are designed to make beautiful projects effortlessly! But you know me - I can’t resist putting my own twist on things! After that, I showed an alternate, then how to turn this kit into an adorable little box, perfect for gifts or treats!

I APPRECIATE your kindness

The most surprising elements of the Heirloom Arrangements Kit is the ability to create 8 unique cards with all the components, resulting in no two cards the same! With so many choices and about 6 items per card, you can easily double your card creativity by cutting the cards in half or like this example, cutting it down to 4”x5-1/4”, adding a 4-1/8”x5-3/8” Garden Green Cardstock layer over a Basic White Thick CS A2 base. Easy and lovely results!

FOR YOU

I am CASE’ing this sweet box from the Stampin’ Up! Creative Challenge, #CreativeChallengeSU. They showed this cute set of 4 boxes the product designers had made to feature the Heirloom Arrangements Kit. This adorable box comes together so easily by using two A2 card kit bases and a extra piece of coordinating cardstock. To create this box, I used two of the Pretty In Pink gid printed card bases, stamped more of the grid on the card back, using Pretty In Pink ink, then stamped off for a lighter look. I also needed a 3-3/4”x3-3/4” Pretty In Pink Cardstock piece for the box base.

Use this template to cut your two card bases. Score at 1/2” along the bottom of your card, then score 1/2” on one end of your card. Cut 1/2” off the other end of your card, then score from the top at 1-3/4”. Snip off the areas shown crosshatched to create tabs. Cut out a coordinating 3-3/4”x3-3/4” piece of coordinating cardstock.

Fold at all the score marks. This YouTube video will show you what I mean. Add tear and tape along your end tabs, then add it on all four sides of your square base. Line up your cut & folded card bases (end to end) and adhere one side to the other. Then fold together to adhere the other end (video will help you). You can then place the square base on the bottom. Your box top folds into itself as shown.

Now just pick what you want from the kit for an adorable gift tag and choose some coordinating ribbon. I am using the new ONLINE EXLUSIVE White 1/4” Ribbon, but you can use anything you have on hand. This ribbon is part of the Botanical Textures Suite Collection I used last week on my scrapbooking layout. I used about 25” of ribbon for this box.

After putting together my tag, I used a little Linen Thread to add it to my box bow. All you need now is a lovely candle or some homemade cookies to add in your box for a perfectly adorable gift!! Sweet and simple!!
