I CASE’d this card from Cheri Skojkovich with a few twists of my own, making it more of a gift card holder for my May class as Father’s Day is coming up soon! This gift card holder is super easy and can be just for a message instead.

Instructions:

Fold and braise card base at score lines. The opening will be at the top (so card insert can hold gift card and message), so be sure to fold the front flap back down. Take tear & tape and adhere inside edges of gift card holder (do not adhere flap yet). Take 4”x3” DSP and cut into 1” strips. Glue them down to the front with one flipped over, spread out in the 4-1/4” space.

For verse on lower portion, stamp in Soft Succulent ink, die cut with arrow die, then pop up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For top tab/verse, stamp in Early Espresso Ink and die cut two pieces to glue to top of insert (front & back for strength). Stamp inside sentiment with Early Espresso ink, then adhere 1”x4” strip on bottom, gluing only the bottom part so a gift card can slip into space). Using tear & tape, lay down satin ribbon to flap, folding ends on the back of the flap, then glue down. Tie faux suede around entire pocket, then add embellishments.

With you…

For my card class, I typically make more samples for my customers to see the Suite versatility. These both use the printed die-cut sentiments, layout and elements. I love how easy these cards are yet they are really versatile for either Father’s Day or Birthdays for anyone. The He’s The Man DSP mixes and matches so well, any card layout works. I used a Sahara Sand CS card base (8-1/2”x5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”), then layered the DSP and Crushed Curry CS across the entire face. DSP measurements are: 2-1/8”x5-1/2”, 2-1/8”x2”, & 2-1/8”x3”. Crushed Curry CS measurements is 2-1/8”x1/2”.

I then cut the banner in 1/2 so it would span the distance of my die-cut sentiments, then popped them up using Stampin Dimensionals.

This card used the “Love This Guy” sentiment from He’s All That Bundle, in both Soft Succulent and Early Espresso ink. I stamped a cute sentiment on the envelope with Early Espresso ink as well, added the Rustic Metallic Adhesive backed Dots and that was it. Easy and amazing cards.
