Marvelous Monday – New Online Exclusive Offering - Sweet Gift Tags

Season of Green & Gold

Back on July 1, I showed a box of ONLINE EXCLUSIVE pre-order items I ordered in June and was just then getting to them! There are so many wonderful items I am excited about and cannot wait to show you in the weeks ahead! The stunning Season of Green and Gold Suite Collection, the sweet Sophisticated Sled Bundle, the fun Frosted Forest Bundle and the charming Changing Leaves Bundle all have so much to love.

For my Marvelous Monday on July 1, I decided to re-create the wonderful Christmas gift tags that are featured on the Stampin’ Up! website using the Greetings of the Season Bundle and the stunning Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection. The suite collection includes: Golden Greenery Bundle, Greetings of the Season Bundle, Graceful Greenery Vellum 12”x12”, Season of Green & gold 12”x12”, Very Vanilla 3/4” Satin Ribbon, and the Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-backed Berries. Just lovely!!

For You

For this first tag, I used the Old Olive ink to stamp the Greetings of the Season bundle sentiment on Basic White CS and die cut it out of the bundle dies. I then used a fussy cut sprig and a tag die cut from the Season of Green & Gold 12”x12” DSP. I took a 10” long piece of the ribbon, folded it over and tied it with a 10” piece of Linen Thread, wrapping the thread around the ribbon and tying a knot. I then thread the linen through the tags. I added the fussy cut sprig with glue dots and added glue dots to the back of my sentiment tag, then tied a bow. I threaded through another 10” of Linen Thread to make a tag tie for later. I then added the pearl trio to the front of the tag.

Happy Christmas

For this sweet little tag, I again used the stunning gold foiled Season of Green & Gold DSP for the tag base, and then die cut out the sprigs and bell using the Golden Greenery matching dies. I love how the DSP matches the dies for those that do not like fussy cutting. For the sentiment tag, I used Old Olive ink and a small scrap of Old Olive CS. This one has no fancy bow, just 10” Linen Thread to go through the tags and bell. You will want to add glue dots or dimensionals to stabilize your sprigs, tag and bell, then add your embellishments as desired.

Love & Joy

For this lovely tag, I again used the same elements as above, using the DSP and Old Olive CS for the tags. I die cut out on the fir sprigs from the Golden Greenery dies using Mossy Meadow CS. I layered all this on another approximate 12” of the Very Vanilla 3/4” Satin Ribbon, folded over and tied up with the 10” of Linen Thread. As before, I added the two tags and tied a bow. This time I added the Cherry Cobbler trio of berries.

Merry Christmas

This lovely tag was the largest of the 4 tags I made, and again was made with the DSP. The Garden Green CS holly sprig was die cut along with one more of the DSP sprigs and a fussy cut sprig. I used Very Vanilla CS and the Winter Wheat ink for the sentiment tag. Once I assembled the sprigs and sentiment tag, I once again used 10” of Linen Thread for the tag tie. I then added about 5 of the pearl berries. More pictures of the tags are available below.
