I was trying to to prepare some cards from the upcoming Jan-Feb 2022 Sale-a-bration FREE Calming Camellia Hostess set, but had no clue where to start... so opened the Sale-a-bration catalog and voilà!! Instant inspiration… and rest just spilled out! Gorgeous stamp set!! Even with a little #simplestamping, the card is wonderful!!

Coming soon is the new 2022 Jan-Jun Mini Catalog and this wonderful stamp set, In The Moment. Sometimes I just need to sit down and color, and this set was a pleasure! It brings to mind all my favorite me times, reminding me to take time to relax, restore, or remember what brings me joy…

To CASE or not to CASE… many worry that to CASE (Copy And Share Everything or Cope And Selectively Edit) is not ok, but I use other talented designers and crafter’s creations to spark my imagination. Sometimes my creation looks nothing like the inspiration, whereas other times, I will copy the design exactly because... well… it is just too amazing to not try on my own.

I have always loved making homemade gifts for Christmas since I was little and my mom helped to encourage our creativity. Of course, we did not have much money, so handmade gifts were all we could do, however, the joy it brought to our little hearts is still what keeps me making gifts even now.

What or what to do with all that free Sale-a-bration Beautifully Penned DSP… why make a load of thank you cards!! I had not had a chance to really get to use the Ornate Thanks stamp set that I purchased in 2020 (um yes, that long ago), so finally got it down when I decided I needed to use a large amount of that pretty Beautifully Penned DSP.

I just love the trellis die that comes with the gorgeous Fabulous Floral Dies, but when you have to make a bunch, I decided to use one of the acetate (Window sheets) you get with the newer Photopolymer dies and cut out a template using the die on the window sheet and blend the outline of the trellis instead. It worked so well, I am going to do this more often!!

My favorite things I find have to do with gardens (flowers, foliage, and herbs), so it is no surprise that I could not wait to get a chance to dive into the Painted Christmas Suite from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. The suite includes two bundles, the Christmas Season Bundle #156801 and Christmas to Remember Bundle #156806.

What brings fall to mind? The smells or look? For me it is the color (as I live in sunny SoCal and there is perpetual green). The Blackberry Beauty Suite is full of stunning color combos that just scream fall!

This last week at my Stamping Cuties Team meeting, my friend Lori Sue was one of the ladies to provide the project and I learned a new process to make the stunning background you see behind this sweet snowflakes…

I had so much fun working with the stunning Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack, and could hardly believe how easy it was to make 14 cards in just a couple of hours (2 of each). The elements in the ephemera pack add elegance to any card. This lovely pack has 40 pieces (2 each of each piece), and makes lots of cards. The card pack coordinates perfectly with the Blackberry Beauty DSP.

I wish oh wish oh wish I lived in an area that had the stunning fall leaves of the Midwest and Northeast!! I can make them for myself by using the new 2021 Fall Mini Sparkle of the Season Bundle, and the Time of Giving Bundle. I can hardly wait to put out my fall wreath, so decided to create one I could enjoy early!

What’s not to love about beautiful fall pumpkins!! There is nothing more pleasant than tramping through the pumpkin patch and picking out that perfect set of pumpkins! My favorites are the new varieties that come in pale shades of green or peach. This Pretty Pumpkins Bundle is just the prettiest stamp set!!

It is not very often that I find time to watercolor with my cards, but when I do… I am unable to stop without a HUGE effort of self control! The Quiet Meadow Bundle was featured last month, but once I looked at the Meadow Dies, I got so excited as I could see potential of what the lovely wildflower silhouettes could become when watercolored. And then Stampin’ Up! added more glorious wildflower Harvest Dies in the Natures Meadow Suite!!

This stunning suite is my most favorite of all times!! The paper is just amazing, and the free-style element of the florals and alcohol ink technique are just so very pleasing to the eye and to create with. BLISS!!
